Aloha!

I got an email from the organizer of my mom's group the night before last inviting me to take this diaper wipee case decorating class today. At first, I was like, no, I don't want to spend the money. Then I clicked the link to see the samples and I started thinking that I would like to take the class. I've seen these cases on Etsy but could not figure out how they got the covers to look so nice! I sat and agonized over spending the twenty bucks for about a half hour when my husband told me to just sign up already. He said I had the ebay money from my maternity clothes, plus I had just listed all that baby stuff, so I should do it.

So I did.

Isn't it CUTE??? If I were to do it again, I'd put something under the ribbon where the buckle is so that line wouldn't be so sharp, but other than that, I just love it. It's that soft "minky" fabric, and the bottom of the refillable plastic case is covered to match. It's fabulous without being girly. Awesome.

Last week my mother in law sent a package for the baby. She visits Hawaii quite a bit, as it's one of her favorite places, and on her last visit she picked up this:

Isn't that the cutest miniature Hawaiian shirt you ever saw? The label says the size is TWELVE MONTHS!!! It does fit a little bit big, because I think Hawaiian shirts should be a little on the loose size, but man - this kid is growing like crazy here.

It also has the matching shorts.

I took some photos of him wearing it so I could make a thank you card. I caught him here with his eyes closed - check out those eyelashes and chubby cheeks!

So very cute, this child of mine.
