Sawyer, come on down!

This is Mister F, hijacking Sawyer's blog to let everyone know that we're one happy family today.

Sawyer joined us today at 12:31pm; all 21 inches and 7lbs 6oz of him. He's already got himself a nice coif of dark hair and beautiful brown eyes. Every nurse who sees him immediately remarks about how long his eyelashes are. (I believe he gets that from me.)

One thing he gets from his mother ; ) is a stubborn streak. Every time Mom was ready for the Big Show, the kid would put up a hissy-fit from inside the womb! So at High Noon (literally), after 12 hours of induction, out came the cutlery and 31 minutes later, out came little Sawyer!

Here are a couple of his first closeups:

Here's his first screen-test. I took a video of him while his feet were being printed; he's still getting used to people, I suppose. The lungs are working just fine, though!

Mom is doing just fine and the little man has already fed twice, so he's getting some much-deserved rest.

Now I need to let Mom rest while I head back to Casa de M and feed some attention-starved dogs.

Until later, Rock On...
